Overview
Students view short movies on the people, issues, and events related to a specific question in contemporary world history. Using an online organizing tool, students read primary sources, save passages that support either side of the question, and enter their own analysis. The online tool then makes a printable chart of the students' comments and of the primary-source passages they have saved. Using this chart for evidence, students take a position on the focus question and write an essay or prepare a class presentation.
