SAS inSchool Among Three Top Winners

Atlanta, GA (November 8, 2001) - SAS inSchool's multimedia instructional software has received its second consecutive Technology & Learning Software Award of Excellence. In addition, SAS inSchool was tapped as one of the Top Three Software Programs for 2001. Each of these honors is awarded to products that best meet the needs of today's classroom. The judges cited the high quality of the work, the depth of the content, the pleasing instructional design and the intuitive graphical interface. Criteria for judging included:

  • Quality, accuracy, and appropriateness of content

  • Instructional design and presentation quality

  • Ease of use for the intended age group

  • Creative use of technology

  • Quality of supporting documentation (such as teacher's guides)

  • Suitability for the classroom

"This is such an exciting time for us," said Barbara Pendergrass, Associate Director of SAS inSchool. "The Technology & Learning judges are classroom teachers, so being selected by them as a top winner is a tremendous honor."
